SPI 2011 & 2012 Best-of-Show Trophy

Nambe Baby Pocket VaseAt its most recent conventions at WESTPEX 2011 and INDYPEX 2012 Sports Philatelists International awarded a handsome trophy to the SPI Best-of-Show (multi-frame) winner. The award consisted of a lovely slim, streamlined vase produced by Nambé of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Baby Pocket Vase designed by noted Egyptian-born designer, Karim Rashid, features a play of finely engraved lines on an 8" full-lead crystal vase.

SPI 2019 Best-of-Show Trophy

Nambe Baby Pocket VaseDonated by Ingrid O'Neil Auctions, Inc. of Corona Del Mar, California, this year's Best-of-Show trophy is a vase created for the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games and was given as a Life Olympics Award by the U.S. insurance company, Allstate. The ancient Greek-style amphora features 8 Olympic Athletes around the perimeter. The black and orange ceramic vase stands 18.5cm (7.3”) tall.
