Royal Mail, the United Kingdom’s postal administration, honored all the Team GB athletes who competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games with a special sprayed-on ink-jet postmark on all mail posted in the UK between 6-10 September 2021. The marking, in 6 lines of text, reads:

Congratulations
to all our
Team GB and
ParalympicsGB
athletes
Tokyo 2020

Those resident in the UK should be checking their mail for the marking. The one illustrated above was found on EBay in early October 2021 (selling price under $5). As Royal Mail did not announce the postmark, nor promote it widely, examples on cover or card will be few and far between.
